Mi paso por el Newlands

 Next year we will be travelling to the United Kingdom, so we created different presentations about British authors and music. Together with Ornella Rio Ramos and Amada Vidaurre Larrazábal, we created a presentation about the most important and iconic British artists (singers and bands).  In the following presentation you will be able to see when these artists started playing (they are organised in chronological order), where they formed, the music genre they play(ed) and our favourite song of them.  I hope you like it!

 At the beginning of the year we were divided into three groups and each one had a different topic: the Korean War, the Cuban Missile Crisis or the Vietnam War. With my group (Amada Vidaurre Larrazábal, Abril Savoia, Joaquin Penedo and Nicolas Tettamanti), we worked on the Vietnam War.  In the following presentation you will be able to see what we investigated. It includes:  The origins of the war. Tactics and technology. The Tet Offensive. The peace movement in the USA. The My Lai massacre. Ending the war. How did the war affect the policy of containment?  I hope you like it!

 During our Literature classes we were divided into groups and each one had to analyse a series of chapters from the novel Life of Pi by Yann Martel plus a theme from the book. Alongside my group, Nicolas Tettamanti and Joaquin Penedo, we focused on chapters 76 to 90 and chose the theme "faith, religion and spirituality".  In the following presentation you will be able to see a brief summary of each chapter, quotes and the analysis of the theme. I hope you enjoy it as much as the novel! 

During our Literature classes we were divided into three groups and each one had to analyse a different poem. Alongside my group, we analysed  I Hear an Army...,  a poem written by the Irish poet and novelist James Joyce. In the following presentation you will be able to see everything we analysed about  I Hear an Army... and some information about Joyce. I hope you enjoy both our presentation and this incredible poem! 

 Luego de haber investigado sobre tanto colores primarios como secundarios, realizamos las escalas de valores de los mismos. Una vez que estuvieron hechas, creamos varios patrones iguales pero cada uno lo pintamos con colores diferentes.  A continuación les dejo una presentación que hice sobre la teoría y balance del color, lo cual está relacionado con lo que les conté anteriormente. ¡Espero que les guste!
